How Can We Maximize the Educational Reach of Live Activities?

Some of LMS Group's staff attended the 11th European Aids Confernce held in Madrid on 25 October, 2007. The webcast system used there was very interesting. It is much like the the system developed internally by LMS Group's multimedia specialist Bart Dorland. It can extend the lifespan of a conference beyond the event and be a real tool to manage a society's membership. Our Video/PowerPoint symposia recordings integrate the video of the presenter and the PowerPoint slides together into one sleek synchronized Flash presentation for post-event viewing.
With convenient controls an enlarged audience can now enjoy a quality reproduction of the original event. Jump ahead and the video and slides move accordingly to the correct point in the presentation. Clearly view both the speaker, the slides and if wished transcript text, thumbnail images and more.

As mentionned in a discussion with Yann Colardelle, one can disseminate the educational material in the format of your choice - over the Internet, CD/DVD, memory-key, podcast…
